World Environment Day - 5th June - Activities for students, please go through the circular for details.
Dear Parents,
Jay Hind!
We are delighted to announce that Freedom Valley School, Umrakh, Bardoli is also participating in ‘Mission LiFE’ and appealing parents to encourage students for summer activities as part of our Eco Clubs’ initiative. As CBSE has suggested this year, we are embracing the theme “Eco Clubs for Mission Life”, coinciding with the global celebration of World Environment Day on 5th June.
The theme for World Environment Day this year is “Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience”, and our summer activities will be aligned with this vital environmental cause.
The event will span one week, with each day dedicated to a specific aspect of “Mission LiFE”:
Day 1: Adopt Healthy Lifestyle
Day 2: Adopt Sustainable Food Systems
Day 3: Reduce E-Waste
Day 4: Reduce Waste
Day 5: Save Energy
Day 6: Save Water
Day 7: Say No to Single Use Plastic
We encourage our students to engage creatively with these themes. They may craft posters, paintings, or compose poems, which will be collected by their class teachers on 11th June 2024.
We believe that through active participation in these activities, our students will not only enhance their understanding of environmental issues but also develop a sense of responsibility towards our planet.
You can join Mission LiFE – visit this website for details - https://merilife.nic.in
We look forward to your support and enthusiasm in making this summer event a meaningful and successful.
Regards,
Principal
