Welcome to the new academic year 2024-25 at Freedom Valley School!
Here are some key points:
- Birthdays: Instead of gifts or sweets, students can donate a book to our library or plant a tree.
- Hero Cards: We reward good behavior and achievements with ‘Hero cards’. Your support and encouragement at home is important.
- No Mobiles: We ask students not to use mobile phones. Parents, please check this every week. We’ll give ‘Mobile Free Student Cards’ to those who follow this rule.
- Attendance: Regular attendance is important for learning. Please encourage this.
- Books: To make school bags lighter, we keep textbooks at school. Students only bring home the books they need.
- Healthy Eating: We have a ‘Fruit Break’ instead of recess for snacks. No junk food, please. Sprouts and dry fruits are allowed in the Fruit Box if fruits are not available. Two fruit breaks will be for Nr to Class IV students.
- Holidays and Meetings: All Saturdays are holidays for Pre-primary. For Classes 1 to 12, the second and fourth Saturdays are holidays. You can meet teachers on these days by appointment.
- CCA Activities: Students have in CCA activities every Saturday for classes 1 to 12. They wear House T-shirts on Wednesday & Saturday.
- NCC Activity: Students from Grade 5 can join NCC activities. More information will follow soon.
- Communication with Teachers: For grades Nr to VIII, use the Almanac (Student Diary) or in case of important tasks you may talk between 4 pm to 5 pm only.
- Uniform: Students should wear the correct uniform and not bring expensive items to school.
- Extra Clothes: For Nursery to Class 1, please provide an extra pair of casual clothes if the uniform gets spoiled during lunch or washroom time.
- Notices: Please check the food menu and transport details regularly on the WhatsApp group or the School App sent by the school.
- Contact Info: If your contact details change, please update the school office immediately.
- School Time:
Nursery – Sr KG: 9.30 am to 2 pm, Std 1 to 4: 9.30 pm to 3.40 pm, Std 5 to 8: 7.40 to 2.00 pm
