Dear Parents,
Warm greetings from Freedom Valley School!
We are delighted to inform you that our school is organizing a special Raksha Bandhan Celebration for our students on Thursday, 27th August 2026, during the Last Period.
Raksha Bandhan is a cherished Indian festival that celebrates the beautiful bond of love, affection, trust, care and mutual respect between brothers and sisters. Through this celebration, we aim to nurture these timeless values among our students and help them understand the importance of caring for, respecting and supporting one another.
🎀 What Students Need to Bring
🌸 For Dear Sisters
Each sister is requested to bring ONE Rakhi, costing not more than ₹10.
🍫 For Dear Brothers
Each brother is requested to bring ONE Chocolate, costing not more than ₹10.
💝 How We Will Celebrate
During the celebration:
🌺 The sisters will lovingly tie a Rakhi on the wrists of the brothers, symbolising love, affection, respect and the beautiful bond of togetherness.
🍫 The brothers will then offer a chocolate to the sisters as a sweet gesture of gratitude, affection and happiness.
This simple exchange will make the celebration joyful while reminding our students that the true essence of Raksha Bandhan lies in love, respect, care, sharing and togetherness.
🌿 The Spirit of Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan is not merely a ritual; it is a celebration of relationships, affection and values. It inspires us to care for one another, respect each other and strengthen the bonds of love and harmony.
We sincerely request all parents to kindly send the required item with their ward so that every student can participate wholeheartedly and make this celebration joyful, meaningful and memorable.
✨ “रक्षाबन्धनं स्नेहस्य, विश्वासस्य च पावनं पर्व।”
Raksha Bandhan is a sacred celebration of love, trust and togetherness.
🌼 Let us celebrate this beautiful festival with love in our hearts, smiles on our faces and respect for every relationship. 🌼
Warm Regards,
Principal
