Dear Parents,

Greetings from Freedom Valley School!

We are delighted to announce a Thumb/Palm Painting Competition for the students of Class 4 on the theme:

🎨 *Theme: Independence Day (15th August)*

📅 *Competition Date: Thursday, 13 August 2026*

📝 Last Date for Registration to class teachers: 8 August 2026

Important Instructions

* Students must bring all the required painting materials from home.
* Suggested materials: Poster colours, non-toxic finger paints, paint palette, drawing sheet, apron, wet wipes/tissue paper, newspaper or mat, and a small towel.
* The artwork must be created only in school during the competition.
* No artwork should be prepared at home.

Competition Rules

1. The painting must be completed only during the competition time.
2. Students should use only thumb and/or palm prints as the main art technique.
3. Students must bring all their own materials.
4. The artwork should be based on the Independence Day theme.
5. Students should maintain cleanliness and use colours carefully.

*Judging Criteria*

* Creativity and originality
* Relevance to the Independence Day theme
* Effective use of thumb/palm prints
* Neatness and overall presentation
* Colour combination and visual appeal

We encourage all our Class 4 students to participate enthusiastically and express their love for the nation through their creativity.
