To provide an opportunity for the students to showcase their aesthetic ideas, creative innovations, as well as to ignite the minds of the students, National Education & Human Resource Development Organisation (Registered Under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, B.P.Τ. Act, 1950), Mumbai, Maharashtra, has organised ALL INDIA 'SWACHH BHARAT' ART COMPETITION for students of Classes Nursery to 10th,
Since 2014, around 10,756 schools and 16 million students have participated in the same. The main aim of this competition is to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation by encouraging students to depict these themes through their artwork.
Students can participate in various competitions such as:
1. Colouring Competition (Different for Different Class Groups)
2. Essay Writing Competition (Std 1-4: MY FATHER, Std 5-7: EFFECT OF DIRTY ENVIRONMENT, Std 8-10: ROLE OF YOUTH IN A CLEAN INDIA MISSION or SMART CITY AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.
3. Drawing and Painting Competition (Nr -1: Any Pet animal, Std 2-4: MY CLEAN HOME., Std 5-7: PARK OR PLAYGROUND BEFORE CLEANING AFTER CLEANING, Std 8-10: SAY NO TO PLASTIC or SAVE EARTH: SAVE FUTURE or IMPORTANCE OF TREES IN OUR LIFE.
4. Art & Craft Competition (Nr - 1: Finger Printing - Butterfly, Starfish or Planets, Std 2-4: Draw and Paint Paper Clock using colourful papers or colours or use any craft idea, Std 5-10: Collage making on Save trees: Save Life)
5. Picture Composition Competition (Observe the picture & Describe, Classes Nr to 4)
6. Doodle Making (For Classes 1-4: Object with smiling faces, cloud with rain, sun with sunglasses, For Classes 5 to 7: Food & Drinks - milkshakes, fruits, pizza slices, donuts, junk food etc. For Classes 8 to 10: Cosmic Objects- Planets, Stars, Moons, Galaxies, etc.)
Registration Fee is Rs. 90/- only for each competition.

The competitions will be conducted on the school premises.
The participants of the school will be shortlisted by their judges. Judges will evaluate some School Level Winners according to students' performance. They will be qualified for further State & National Level Competition.
School-level winners will get the "Swachh Bharat Art Excellence Award" in the form of a gold medal. Trophy Awards for outstanding performance will also be given. Every participant will get a hard copy of the printed certificate with respective of competitions taken part.
