The First Periodic Test begins on 4th July 2026. From Class 3 onwards, three categories of papers will be given based on student's prior performance: Basic (below 50%), Moderate (50–69%), and Standard (70%+). This system reduces stress and motivates gradual improvement. Kindly ensure your child revises daily, attends school regularly, and completes all work. For queries, contact teachers via diary or email the Principal at principal@freedomvalleyschool.org.
Dear Parents,
Jay Hind!
This is to inform you that the First Periodic Test will commence on 4th July 2026. Kindly refer to the school calendar for the detailed examination schedule.
To support every child's learning according to their academic level, the school has introduced three categories of question papers from class 3 & onwards based on the student's previous examination performance:
• Basic: For students who scored below 50% in the subject.
• Moderate: For students who scored 50% to 69% in the subject.
• Standard: For students who scored 70% and above in the subject.
This system is designed to assess learning more effectively, reduce examination stress, and encourage students to improve their performance step by step. Examinations are a tool to evaluate learning, not just to score marks.
Please note that CBSE has already introduced Basic and Standard question papers for Mathematics in the Class X Board Examination, and the same pattern will now be followed for Science. This approach helps students prepare at their learning level while motivating them to meet higher standards.
